Interviewer: “Ms. Callie, you can begin whenever you’re ready.”

Callie: “I know. I’m just trying to leave the audience in suspense sweetie.”

Interviewer: “Ma’am, this is for a biography. There is no audience.”

Callie: *Stays silent*

-20 minutes later-

Interviewer: *Ahem* “Just waiting on you ma’am.”

Callie: *Rolls eyes* “Haven’t you ever heard that you shouldn’t rush perfection? Whatever, I’m ready.”

Good day hoomans. Today, you have all been blessed by my presence. Yes indeed! Some may be wondering who I am. Well baby...I am none other than the fabulous Chocolate Diva herself...CALLIE!!! Now, some of y’all are probably wondering how a beautiful...talented... illustrious canine cutie such as myself could even be placed in a situation such as being available for adoption? Well honey, I’m glad you asked. You see, I’ve had it rough growing up...and those of y’all that know what that’s like knows that you gotta be tough, and make sure don’t NOBODY take advantage of you. So...needless to say, I have learned to take those life lessons and turn them in my favor. How you ask? Well baby, it’s simple...if you gonna let me have what I want, I’m just gonna take it. Now just because I take advantage of situations don’t make me a bad dog though... oh no honey. Let me set the record straight. 

First off: I’m comfortable with all sorts of people, especially the children. They’re just so adorable... lookin’ like mini-hoomans. Secondly: I’m very comfortable with my own kind. Us canines gots to stick together...know what I’m talkin’ about? Lastly: I’m a protector. If ANYBODY, or anything comes near what’s dear to me…WATCH OUT NOW, because I’m gonna have to get my own personal canines out *laughs loudly* you know what I’m sayin? However...when it comes to cats...AW NAW BABY...I don’t want nothing to do with them. NOTHING! I don’t like them and never will. To put you at ease though I’ll let you in on a little Miss Callie secret...if you STAND YOUR GROUND with me, and maintain a FIRM STANCE; I promise you I will be the absolute best dog you will ever have in your life. 

So this is all I’m saying: Miss Callie is mainly bred for Grown Folks. If you think you’re grown, you’ve got a firm and stable household, and you think you can manage my Diva ways…then Miss Callie will forever love you and appreciate you more than any other dog could ever in your entire life. That is all. Bless you and your hearts baby. Miss Callie has left the building!
