If you apply to adopt from us, it will likely take 7-10 days to hear back. You will receive a response even if your application is not approved. When reviewing applications, we reach out to your vet as a reference. We make sure that your current and/or past pets had regular vet care, are/were spayed or neutered, and are/were on proper preventatives. The dogs in our rescue have already been through enough and we are committed to ensuring they go to homes that are willing to provide up to date veterinary care. An application is required in order to schedule a meet and greet, but does not guarantee approval or obligate you to adopt. Adoptions are not first-come-first-serve, we reserve the right to decline any application and/or suggest a dog that we believe may fit your household best. We want the dog and you to be happy in the long run.
